We are a small breeder of Standard, Miniature, and occasionally a Toy Australian Shepherd.
I had lost my Great Dane at 12 years old, and then my daughter had given me a gorgeous blue Dane and she made it a year and I lost her. That is when I got my first black tri mini Aussie. She is a bundle of joy that goes everywhere with me. She is small enough that she lays in my recliner with me and rides in my truck next to me.
I have started showing in 2011 and researching on how to better the breed through testing, conformation and movement. As I raise my litters of Aussies I will be trying to better the breed and show some of my pups. I will have quality pups for adoption during the process.
My first concern in my Aussies is temperament; they must be friendly, love children, train easily, and then conformation, agility/ herding talents, and color.
My Aussies are health tested; they take turns in the house except for Roxie and Taffie they stay in all the time. We are in the process of building a huge dog home for our Aussies were they will have their own quarters and runs. The building is 20’ x 40’ and it has 10’ covered runs on both sides of the building. The Dog home is next to our home and is easily accessed from our home. We have 10 acres for the dogs to run every day and play. They love to swim in the water tanks and go for walks when my 14 ear old daughter rides her horse.
Thank you for looking at Lucky J Aussies for you next Family Member, please enjoy the pictures of our babies.
